Yosemite 2016-03-14

The clouds rapidly dissipated on Monday, and the weather stayed clear and warmed up through the week. Since registration for Cocoaconf did not begin until Monday evening, I had the day free to explore Yosemite Valley. This gallery has photos from my morning walk to Lower Yosemite Falls. From there I continued to the Village and the Majestic (Ahwahnee) for lunch. In the afternoon, I drove back to western end of the valley to access the traditional view from the tunnel portal and to hike to the base of Bridalveil Falls. I then stopped in the Village to get a few pictures of Upper Yosemite Falls from an interesting angle and finished the day with another stroll to the falls. I also have included a few short videos that attempt to capture the atmosphere near the falls and along the creeks.
