2019 0101 Mariposa Grove

The first stop on this visit to Yosemite was the Mariposa Grove near the south entrance. The grove was reopened to visitors last year, but one can no longer drive to it. Instead, you park in a large parking lot just past the south entrance to and take a shuttle bus to the grove itself.

From the drop off point, I hiked the Grizzly Gaint loop (see the 4th picture).
